The Auburn Player’s Community Theater’s production of Almost, Maine has been selected (out of 97 theater productions) to represent all of New York State at the Eastern States Theatre Festival in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Eastern States Theater Association is the Regional Organization of the American Association of Community Theatre. It is comprised of the five states including New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. Its primary function is to hold the annual ESTA Festival to select the “best of the best” of the region. The winner of the ESTA Festival will compete on the National level in June.
“To be chosen to compete at this level is not only a huge accomplishment for our local community theater, but it also represents the immense talent that is present within our community,” says Joseph Shepherd, President of The Auburn Players Community Theatre.
We invite you to join us as the cast and crew of “Almost, Maine” perform the final dress rehearsal before the competition. The final dress rehearsal will take place on April 5th at the Bisgrove Theater on the Cayuga Community College Campus. The show will begin at 7:30 and is free and open to the public.
