The Auburn Players Community Theatre presents a major musical production just in time to celebrate the holidays. Scrooge! The Musical opens December 8th at 8:00 PM and runs for two weekends at the Auburn Public Theater in Downtown Auburn. Performances are on December 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased by calling 315-253-6669 or visiting www.auburnplayers.org

Scrooge! is the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a lonely miser who is visited on Christmas Eve by three spirits who teach him lessons of love and giving. Don’t miss Ebenezer, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and a whole host of Dickensian characters in this award-winning, international smash hit musical by Leslie Bricusse, which includes such acclaimed songs as “Thank You Very Much,” “A Better Life” and “A Christmas Carol.”

Under the direction of Bill Daugherty and musical direction by Kristan Sheppard, the characters of the story are brought to life.  Thames Nolan in the title role of Ebenezer Scrooge, is joined by a cast of 43. (See list below.)
