In this musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge receives a visit from his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley. Marley has come from beyond the grave to warn Scrooge that a life of continued avarice will have dire consequences in the afterlife; Marley dispatches the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come to help him on his crusade to save his friend’s soul. After his “life in review,” Scrooge must come face to face with the ultimate question: Is it ever too late to atone for the mistakes of our past, or can anyone achieve redemption?
