The Auburn Players are going Technicolor with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s irresistible story of Joseph, his jealous brothers and one very colorful garment in this delightful musical parable that swirls on stage August 15-17 at Cayuga Community College.

This production stars Ricky Ducayne as Joseph and Lillian Boberg as the Narrator, along with William Mosier as Jacob/Potiphar, Johnny Exner as the Elvis-style Pharaoh. Forty of the area’s most talented young performers join them on stage.  Nate Morse, Hannah Yorkey, Mary Ellen Ducayne, Kierstin Davis, Faith Keba, Julianna Buchmann, Mike Laduca, Jenna Nila, Michael Ducayne, and Ella Boedicker play Joseph’s brothers.  The wives include Maya Foos, Ellyse Freeman, Tehya Kloster, Baylee Kennedy, Haley Yorkey, Stella Reohr, Grace Ducayne, Erin Kennedy, Donovan Tanner. Antonina Tortorello, and Mary Nila.  The Children’s Chorus includes Cole Carpenter, Noah Hickok, Nevaleah Davis, Charli Tallman, Trinity Davis, Lily Nila, Isabella Ducayne, Eileen Boberg, Eden Gadsby, Olivia Shaw, Alexander Ducayne, Joshua Ducayne, and Lucas Shaw.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is filled with surprising humor for adults and dazzling delights for children.  This thrilling musical adventure follows the Biblical story of Joseph, the favorite son blessed with the ability to interpret dreams, on his journey to Egypt after being sold into slavery by his brothers. Audiences will enjoy an engagingly crazy quilt of musical styles; from country-western to calypso and bubble-gum pop to rock ‘n’ roll. The production includes the popular songs “Go, Go, Go Joseph” and “Any Dream Will Do.”

This timeless tale plays the Irene Bisgrove Theater at Cayuga Community College on August 15 and 16 at 8:00 PM, and August 17 at 2:00 PM.   Tickets are $14 General Admission, $12 Senior/Student, and $10 for children under 12.
