Now Accepting Show Submissions for Our 2027 Season
Whether you’re an experienced director or ready to direct for the first time, we invite you to share your vision and help shape Auburn Players Community Theatre’s 2027 season!
We’re seeking plays and musicals with strong audience appeal to help create an exciting and diverse 2027 season!
In addition to our regular productions, we’re especially interested in presenting a children’s play or musical during the summer months.
We also encourage submissions for our Literary Series, which brings works of literature to life on stage while providing students with the opportunity to experience live theatre free of charge. This is made possible by support from the Columbian Foundation.
Ready to submit? Please keep the following in mind:
- Read the Director Submission Guidelines. Before submitting a proposal, all directors must read the guidelines and confirm on the proposal form that they have read them and understand the requirements.
- Complete the Director’s Show Submission form for each show you would like to submit.
- Share your vision. Include a detailed description of your approach to the show, a link to licensing and royalty information, a tentative budget, and your proposed production team.
- Provide a script for each proposal. Proposals cannot be considered without a script.
- Consider production needs. Shows with simple staging and manageable set requirements are encouraged.
- Be flexible with scheduling. Our 2027 season runs from January through December, with performance dates determined by venue and personnel availability.
