Now Accepting Submissions to fill the remainder of our 2025 Season

Experienced directors or newbies, now is the time to take the stage!

Join us for our 64th Season of Community Theatre

Auburn Players Community Theatre is now accepting submissions from directors for the remainder of our 2025 Season. To provide audiences with the best possible entertainment, we are seeking shows that have strong audience appeal or recognition, are commercially successful, and appeal to a diverse age range.

Please keep these considerations in mind as you choose your submission.

  • Our 2025 season now runs from January to December, with show dates determined by theater and personnel availability. The first part of our season is set, and we are currently looking for show dates from July onward.
  • Submit a play or musical of your choice by using the Directors Proposal Form.
  • Please describe, as fully as you can, your vision for each show, a link to royalties, a tentative budget, and staff. Feel free to contact us for assistance.
  • A script must be submitted for each proposal. We are unable to consider any proposal without a script.
  • Simple staging and set demands are suggested. The current stage we use in Auburn has limited space. Wing space is small; there is no easy way to move and store set pieces, etc.
  • We’re flexible about exploring alternative venues, if they are cost-effective.

Submissions are due by December 1st.
