Now Accepting Submissions to fill the remainder of our 2026 Season

Experienced directors or newbies, now is the time to take the stage!

Join us for our 65th Season of Community Theatre

Auburn Players Community Theatre is now accepting submissions from directors for the remainder of our 2026 Season. To provide audiences with the best possible entertainment, we are seeking shows that have strong audience appeal or recognition, are commercially successful, and appeal to a diverse age range.

Please keep these considerations in mind as you choose your submission.

  • Our 2026 season runs from January to December, with show dates determined by theater and personnel availability.
  • Submit a play or musical of your choice by using the Directors Proposal Form.
  • We’re interested in popular musicals and plays with strong name recognition that are likely to draw a big crowd and engage the community.
  • Please describe, as fully as you can, your vision for each show, a link to royalties, a tentative budget, and staff. Feel free to contact us for assistance.
  • A script must be submitted for each proposal. We are unable to consider any proposal without a script.
  • Simple staging and set demands are suggested.

Submissions are due by October 1, 2025
