Navroz Dabu, Scenic Designer

Set design (also known as scenic or production design) is an important part of almost any theatre production.  The primary function of a set, of course, is to provide the audience with some context for the play, but it can also be a chance to create something stunning to draw in the audience.

Navroz describes his experience designing the set for this weekend’s show…

In the world of exploring art, sometimes planets Align almost perfectly , and an abstract art dream , becomes a setting for a stage play.   This was one of those times when my imagination and painting of a fantasy forest , created for Director Daniel Stevens, came alive on the Bisgrove Theater Stage of Cayuga Community College , executed by Bob Frame with his amazing skills, talents and patience, leading a team of volunteers of Auburn Players Community theater for their production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The Auburn Players 3rd Annual Literary Series production of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,”  Feb 15 – 18 at Cayuga Community College.
