The Auburn Players are inviting boys and girls, ages 6 to 18 years old, to audition for its holiday show, “Season’s Greetings.” This is the story of a disgruntled postman who finally gets into the holiday spirit by becoming part of six traditional holiday scenes as holiday greeting cards come to life on stage. The bustle of shopping, invigoration of snow sports, charm of children’s toys, excitement of dancing the Hora, and baking of Christmas cookies are some of the scenes highlighted.
Auditions will be scheduled from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19 and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20 at First Presbyterian Church, 112 South St. in Auburn.
For the audition, children should be prepared to deliver a short monologue and short song. Boys and girls may be asked to read a portion of a script. Performances are Dec. 7 & 8, 2013 at the CCC Holiday Craft show.
