From the Theatre Association of New York State:
Congratulations to the Auburn Players Community Theatre on its recent production of the stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. Director, Heather McNeil has assembled a brave, bold, and talented cast to express the social issues of Lee’s pre-civil rights era Alabama. McNeil’s director’s note reminds us that these issues are still very much a part of our lives today. Kudos to the Auburn Players for bringing thought provoking and meaningful theatre to the community.
Your award(s) are as follows:
Meritorious Achievement in Direction to Heather McNeil
Meritorious Achievement in Lighting Design to Gillian Frame
Meritorious Achievement in Ensemble Performance to Haley Yorkey as Scout, Ethan Goldstein as Jem, and Michael Ducayne as Dill.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of To Kill a Mockingbird!
