Meet the Cast

Mike A moonMike Antico (Paul) – MOB marks Michael’s third production with The Auburn Players.  He previously performed at Matt in Dog Sees God and Eddie in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.  

He has worked extensively with the Merry Go Round Theater, Auburn Public Theater, and the Sterling Renaissance Festival.  Michael’s next project comes this summer with the Finger Lakes Musical Theater Festival in From Here To Eternity. 

Bill D moon

Bill Daugherty (George) is a recent addition to CNY by way of NYC, having appeared in theaters and concert halls worldwide including Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall and The Kennedy Center. Credits include: Nicely Nicely Johnson in the first European tour of Guys and Dolls, Side By Side By Sondheim, Joseph…, Man Of La Mancha, Candide, Annie Get Your Gun, My Fair Lady, Damn Yankees, Evita, The Little Foxes, A Funny Thing Happened…. Early in his career Bill was one-half of the musical comedy team – Daugherty & Field. Writer, director and recording artist, he is the recipient of 4 MAC awards, 3 Backstage Bistro Awards and was nominated for an OBIE.  Three of his original works – When The Lights Go On Again, Brother – Can You Spare A Dime? and On The Record – ran Off-Broadway to critical acclaim.  Mr. Daugherty was an instructor at NYU Tisch/CAP21 for nearly 20 years and a founding member of BRAVO channel’s Camp Broadway and Stages for Learning (NYC). Bill is now with Nazareth College in Rochester, NY as an adjunct teacher and resident director at in their BFA Musical Theater program. 

Scott D moon

Scott Duell (Howard) hails from the tiny town of Taberg, NY. He attended Nazareth College in Rochester, NY where he studied Musical Theatre.

Scott is currently working for Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre, where he has spent the past four seasons touring shows to schools across New York state. Favorite roles include: Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors), Jinx (Forever Plaid), and Leaf Coneybear (The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee).

Dale F moon

Dale Fennessy (Richard) has been active in college and community theater for over 30 years. Some past roles include Jim in The Glass Menagerie, Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, Gomm in The Elephant Man, Magnus in The Real Inspector Hound, Richard in The Lion in Winter, and Dictator Dumbo in The March of the Big Eared Nasties.  

Dale’s favorite roles are off-stage as husband to Allison and father to Rose and Kate.  Go Mets!

Steph F moon

 

Stephanie Figer (Ethel) makes her second Auburn Players appearance in this production, having previously played Peggy in The Women.

A graduate of Point Park University, she spends her summers teaching musical theatre, acting and voice and speech at The American School in Switzerland. She is a proud member of the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre. 

Anne Fitzgerald moon

Anne Fitzgerald (Charlotte) is thrilled to be returning to the Auburn Players stage. Recently Anne has appeared as Ouiser in Appleseed’s Steel Magnolias, Nana in Rarely Done”s Milk,Milk, Lemonade, and Big Mama in CNY Playhouse’s production of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.  

Anne is a SALT award winning actress and past recipient of several TANYS Excellence in Acting awards.

Alicia Frame moon

Alicia Frame (Rosalind) made her first stage debut at the of six in The Miracle Worker and from there has gone on to perform in more than 30 musicals, plays, and on acts. Some of her favorites have included Wit, Romeo and Juliet, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

She  is currently pursuing acting and working in Syracuse teaching theatre and the arts to inner city school students. 
Christine Z moon

Christine Zavakos is excited to be returning to the Auburn Players after playing Crystal Allen in The Women.  She is currently on the youth tour for Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Next she will be a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast down in Indianapolis.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by  moments that take our breath away.” So, Christine will be road tripping west for the summer! She hopes it leaves her breathless.
