This weekend, April 13th and 14th, the Auburn Players are proud to present SKETCH!

SKETCH is the story of Violet an 11-year old, bookish, outcast.   She spends her school days ducking insults and escaping to her sketchbook, where she dreams up villainous alter egos of her classmates and teachers. The student tormentors who have plagued her for years morph into The Celebrity, The Twisted Tongues, The Lackey and The Zombie Hoard. Her Science teacher stars as The Snooze in one daydream, and the cafeteria workers become The Crazy Cooks in another.

When her bullies discover her artistic abilities, they convince Violet that drawing parodies of students and teachers is a victimless crime.  Soon she discovers that her sketches have hurt people, and she must decide whether her first real friendships are worth the cost to her conscience. Will she learn to use her powers for good and become the hero of her own story?

Come find out this weekend!  SKETCH will play April 13th at 7 PM, and April 14th at 2 PM and 7 PM at the new West End Theater, 217 West Genesee St in Auburn (the former West Middle School).  Adult tickets are only $5 and every student is admitted for free!
