Director, Elisa Carabajal Hunt, is proud to announce the cast of the upcoming Auburn Players production of “The Laramie Project.”
The cast will include Nancy Hunt, Vera Carabajal, Holly Maltese, Lillian Boberg, Kristie Gutierrez, Steve Gamba, Fran Bruno, Nick Bessette, and Brian O’Connor.
The Laramie Project is a play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project about the reaction to the 1998 murder of gay University student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. The murder was denounced as a hate crime and brought attention to the lack of hate crime laws throughout the United States.
This important project takes the stage October 11-13, 2019 at the Auburn Public Theater in Downtown Auburn.
