The Cast of Antigone & Letters to Soldiers Lost

The Auburn Players is pleased to announce the cast of our first theater offering this season, “Antigone & Letters to Soldiers Lost.”  The show is a combination of the classic play by Sophocles and the reading of emotional letters left at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.  The adaptation is by Al Schnupp and directed by Bob Frame.

The show will be presented on the back lawn of the PERC Presbyterian Event & Retreat Center, (former Case Mansion), 108 South St in Auburn on Sept 18 & 19 at 6 PM and Sept 20 at 2 PM.  Performances are free and students are encouraged to attend. Bring a lawn chair! All performances will be outside.  Masks required while entering & exiting area.  Social distancing protocols will be followed.

The play is being held in conjunction with a Motorcade Tribute and Dedication of a Memorial Monument hosted by the Cayuga County Vietnam Veterans Chapter 704 and Finger Lakes Antique Automobile Club on Saturday, September 19th which will honor our Vietnam veterans.  Please contact Nick Valenti  at (315) 604-1918 for more information on the tribute and dedication.
