A séance takes center stage at the Auburn Players’ stage production of
THE DECEPTION OF KATHRYN VASK
Written by Mark Steensland, the action follows a grief-stricken woman who blames herself for her son’s death in an accident. To gain his forgiveness, she holds a séance. Her husband, however, hires actors and fakes the proceedings until someone or something else takes charge.
Directed by Robert Frame, the cast includes Maria Coleman as Kathryn, Steve Gamba as her husband Jonathan, Chris Hess is Father Mike, and Michelle Chisholm and Chris Yeckel play Leslie and Albert.
The tightly woven thriller will play at 7:30 p.m. on October 6, 7, 8, 2022 at the Bisgove Theater at Cayuga Community College, 197 Franklin St in Auburn. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for seniors and students.
