Ages 8 to 18 are invited to audition on
Saturday May 18th and Sunday, May 19th from 1:00-5:00 PM
at First Presbyterian Church, 112 South St., Auburn, NY.
To Audition: Please download Youth Theatre Audition Packet
- Prepare a modern Disney or Broadway-style song of 16-32 measures
- Prepare a Seussical monologue (memorized preferred but not necessary)
- Dance/athletic clothes and shoes for choreography. No flip flops/sandals
- A headshot and/or resume (helpful but not required)
- Anyone interested in working behind the scenes can sign up at auditions

About the Show:
- In this musical extravaganza Seussical JR., Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and more beloved Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage. Partake in the Horton the Elephant’s journey as he discovers the city of Whoville on a speck of dust and must protect the Who’s from a world of naysayers and dangers. Although Horton faces ridicule and danger, the elephant persistently stands by his motto that, “After all, a person is a person, no matter how small.”
Production Information:
- The production takes place at the Bisgrove Theater at Cayuga Community College in Auburn. Show dates are July 26-28, 2019.
